Welcome to Koinonia!
Koinonia (or Koi as we usually call it) is both a study and service group.  We strive to understand the word of God from many different angles and view points while questioning and discussing our wide ranging topics.  We also believe it as our duty to serve our fellow man through volunteering and giving of our time, talents, and gifts to our commmunity and church.

We range in ages from 20-80 and have varied backgrounds and life experiences and value everyone's different views.  We meet at 5:30 on Sunday nights for fellowship and a meal (bring your favorite dish).  At 6 we begin our discussion and study and we usually finish up about 7:30-8:00.  Child care is provided.

Come explore, share, debate, and worship God with us.

Some of our service projects:
The renovation of Room P at Central Faith Child Development Center  to provide a lounge area for their staff

Providing kits for Operation Christmas Child
Some of our members have also worked closely with Hospice patients and their families
and many more to come!

Some of our past studies:

Communites in the Church
The Book of the Apocrypha
Theodicy -- our discussions of some of the difficult questions from the Bible (including original sin, evil, and other topics)
Our plans for the Spring are to further our Study of James and then work through a lenten study.
